Life lesson #1
We all do as we're taught to do
at least until we realise
it's not the right thing for us to do
Then: trouble.
At least,
when you're forced to live together with the people whose lifestyle you don't agree with and don't want them to force upon you.
Classical teenage girl problem.
BUT
I just started reading M. Scott Peck's "The Road Less Travelled" and in the first couple of pages there was a great lesson. To quote Mr Scott Peck:
"Problems call forth our courage and our wisdom; indeed, they create our courage and our wisdom. It's only because of problems (and the way we deal with them, imo) that we grow mentally and spiritually."
And that's how I came to my truth. Four easy steps, yet so difficult when you're afraid of the pain that might, no: will, come along:
Accepting the problem
Facing the problem
Suffering through the problem
Growing from the problem
Four steps
Follow them
and life will be a lot easier.
