Harvey Milk.

Up until a year ago I had no idea who this man was, Harvey Milk. That changed when my girlfriend went on a trip to San Francisco and came back with the most interesting and inspiring stories. She showed me pictures of the Castro and Harvey Milk Plaza and she basically forced me to go out and buy 'Milk", the 2008 release starring Sean Penn as Harvey. I watcched it and I cried until I had no more tears left to cry. I cried for Harvey, for San Francisco, for the world who had had to experience such a huge relapse after everything Harvey did for them- for us. Harvey Milk, this man has had more impact on my life then any other man. His ideals, so unafraid and knowing he could die any moment, I have deep, deep respect and admiration for this man. Add to that his marvellous way with words and I cannot do anything but making sure I honor his legacy and make sure he won't be forgotten.
